Pachuliwurm
Pachuliwurms are overlarge mutations made from human and several species of deep sea worm genes. The experiment began as a way of creating genetically engineered human beings capable of surviving in extremely harsh environments. the Pachuliwurms began as small larvae, but soon matured into 12 foot adults and quickly escaped from confinement. Several made their way into the sea, and have been found forming primitive communities around deep sea vents in the Pacific.

Prosphirrhini
Prosphirrhini are strange, one-eyed, multi-limbed, primate-like creatures which inhabit the jungle canopies of their native planet. The creatures are omnivorous, and use their highly sophisticated senses and extreme agility to capture small prey. The Prosphirrhini live in elaborate treetop warrens made from masticated leaves, branches, and other natural materials. The tunnels in these networks may extend for miles. They show signs of an emerging intelligence, as complex social behaviors have been observed, including marriage, religious, and death rituals.

Fidopholump
The Fidopholump is another designer pet by the Cristix corporation, this one genetically engineered by a combination of dog, kangaroo, and grizzly bear. The resulting creature is large and friendly. The Fidopholump sold well and was a huge success. It soon became apparent that the creatures were highly protective and territorial, and would attack anything perceived as a threat to it's master, especially other Fidopholumps. A cottage industry of Fidopholump training schools have appeared to address this problem.

Segmeturite
Segmeturites are large, herd-dwelling, grazing animals akin to cattle. Their bodies are covered in a highly flexible but extremely durable body armor, with an orifice on the top. The creature's "head" is projected from the orifice on a very long, flexible neck, in order to spot predators from miles away over it's flat grassland habitat. This "head" merely contains the eyes, the brain is located inside the center of the body. When under attack the Segmeturite withdraws the false head into the body cavity and rolls into a ball, which is nearly impregnable to tooth and claw.

Squashapus
The Squashapus is a genetically engineered animal/vegetable hybrid. They were originally created as designer pets, but given their mean disposition they eventually found their way into the illegal bio-gladiator market, forced to fight other unnatural creations for entertainment and gambling purposes. Hundreds of such creatures are born and bred for such tournaments world wide. Although these tournaments are illegal in most western countries, they tend to flourish in the more lawless areas of the third world.
