Kameosa

A tsukumogami spawned from an old jug or jar. Unlike most other Yokai, this one can be beneficial towards people. The Kameosa has the ability to replicate any liquid that is placed inside of it, be it sake, water, wine, etc.

Squid McDonald

Old man McDonald lived on his farm for years on end. Mounting debt forced him into experimental agriculture. McDonald added a special radioactive formula to his vegetables. Soon he was harvesting three foot squashes and massive broccoli stalks, however his new found wonder formula had some unforeseen side effects.

Barbatan

The Barbatans are a tribe of pig-like humanoids. They are short, squat, with tough, leathery skin, and a large, pig-like snout. The tribe is renown for their war like behavior and eagerness to fight newcomers. Other larger, more powerful humanoids enjoy hunting Barbatans for their meat, which is supposed to be of a very high quality.

Cugdelon

Cugdelon is a stout, spiked turtle with a large spiked club on it's tail. Cugdelons are highly territorial and will attack creatures many times their size without much regard for their personal safety.

The Gobbletor

The freakish monstrosity that would be known as the Gobbletor began as an experiment by a less than ethical turkey farm to increase profits. Plucked and dressed turkeys were exposed to exotic forms of radiation that increased their size. Soon six foot drumsticks and fifteen foot turkey breasts were produced. However when one of the drumsticks was cooked strange mutations began to occur, and the Gobbletor was born. It quickly escaped from the lab, leaving a trail of carnage in it's wake, and has since gone on to become an urban legend. Gobbletor is frequently sighted in remote wooded areas, and is currently the subject of several documentaries.

Flook

The Flook are a short, squat, hardy race. They generally are hairless, come in an array of colors, and possess one large cyclopic eye. Flooks are extremely clumsy, and are known for their very bizarre sense of humor. They tend to gravitate towards the theater, acting, or find work as stand up comedians.

Bubba the Fish

Bubba began life as an ordinary boy. It wasn't until his late teens that the first sign of mutation manifested itself. All of his hair fell out, strange scales and fins grew on his body. Doctors were baffled at his bizarre aquatic transformation. He quickly found he could not find employment with his new fish-like appearance. Bubba hit the sideshow circuit and quickly made a name for himself.

Rock People

A long lost tribe of silicon based, bipedal life forms. The Rock Men make their homes deep inside of caverns and inside of volcanoes. Their unique physiology allows them to swim in molten lava as if it were water.

Designer Rex

After the Phollywog debacle, the Toywerks toy company found itself on the edge of destitution. The decision was made to put nearly all of the remaining capital into another designer pet initiative. Thus was born the Designer Rex, a miniature dinosaur created from cloned T-Rex DNA. The creature was genetically manipulated to severely stunt the growth cycle, trapping the T-Rex in a juvenile, midget-like state. However, this did nothing to prevent the creature's natural hunting tendencies. The Designer Rex was initially a huge success, however a large public outcry following the severe mauling deaths of several children lead to their eventual outlawing. Designer Rex is still sold overseas, and to various companies to be used as guard dogs.

Snaxar

A type of vampire in eastern European myth. A Snaxar is the reanimated corpse of an evil magician or sorcerer who uses dark magics to stay alive after death, usually involving selling one's soul to demons, Satan, etc. Also known as Pocelnik and Kudesnik.

Vorschlagiest

The Vorschlagiest is a peculiar type of ghost. Instead of quietly slinking around in the shadows like other spirits, he takes it upon himself to make as much noise as possible. Psychologists believe they are spirits of people who had trouble asserting themselves while alive, and thus are now doomed to be loud and annoying through eternity.

Chimoook

Chimoooks are small, skittering primate-like animals from a far away star system. They show signs of an emerging intelligence, but have nearly been hunted to extinction for sport and trophies. Due to extensive conservation efforts the population of Chimoooks have stabilized, but are still at a fraction of what they once were.

BugBear

BugBears were original creatures in European myth, similar to Brownies, Nixies, Hobgoblins, and other forest creatures. BugBears were envisioned as large, hairy monsters that would abduct naughty children. In modern fantasy fiction, they have become a race of larger, stronger, deadlier Goblins, usually acting as the "boss" of a group of weaker troops, and beholden to a superior (evil) power.

Kagomeas

Kagomeas is a Tsukumogami evolved from from a ketchup bottle. He does not like it when people turn him over and yell at him for taking too long.

Duende

In the folklore of various cultures in South America, a Duende is a Gnome-like house spirit, who lives within the walls and under the floors. They are known for pulling various pranks, as well as clipping the toenails of children (sometimes accidentally the entire toe.)

Throughout 2008 in Argentina there have been several sightings of a shadowy, side-stepping, creepy dwarf with a pointed hat, including several videos. Is the Duende real, or is it merely a prankster reaching for 15 minutes of internet fame? Who can really say.

Ubbopiyaegha

The Ubbopiyaegha is a hybrid creature, seemingly possessing the characteristics of mammals, reptiles, crustaceans, and insects to one degree or another. The beast grows between 10 to 30 meters in length and has a very territorial disposition. Most scientists believe this creature is artificial.

The Lambton Worm

A large, albino dragon thrown into a well by a small child names John Lambton. The white worm fed upon the wastes of the village and grew to an immense length, and then terrorized the surrounding country side for years to come. Lambton eventually returns from the crusades and battles the worm.

Ya-Te-Veo

The Ya-Te-Veo is a carnivorous tree said to inhabit Central and South America. It has been described as having a short, think trunk topped with multiple tendril-like branches that catch and secure prey. There are unconfirmed reports from the 19th century of Indian tribes which sacrificed victims to the trees.

Jimmy Squarefoot

Jimmy Squarefoot is an ogreish figure from Irish mythology. He is thought to originally be one of the Faowar, which were an indigenous race of giants who built the various stone circles throughout Britain and Ireland. He is described as huge, with a pig head, one eye, horns, and feet wrapped in calico bands, which give them a squareish appearance.

Squoonk

Squoonks are named so because of their mating call, which takes the form of a very loud "SQUOOONK!" Although they originally came from a primitive, jungle dwelling society on an under developed planet, Squoonks have adapted to technological life quite well. They tend to employ themselves as artists, musicians, interpretive dancers, and game designers. They have the vocal inflection to speak most human languages, but have a tendency to interject random exclamations of "Squoonk" into their speech patterns.

Penanggalan

The Penanggalan is a variation of the Vampire from Malay. During the day they appear as normal people, but at night the head will detach (with trailing entrails) and fly about seeking victims. The Penanggalan usually chooses newborn mothers and small children to prey upon - when a child is born the creature uses an abnormally long tongue to lap up blood from the mother. The victims of the Penanggalan usually die of strange diseases, and become Penanggalan themselves.

Thailand: Krasue
Cambodia: Arb

Unlike these similar creatures, the Penanggalan is always female.

Hornapillar

Small caterpillars which communicated through blaring honking noises. Hornapillars are named as such because of the horn-like orifices on on their heads and ears. They are generally harmless, despite the obnoxious noise pollution they produce.

Mandragora

Small dolls or figures given to witches by demons, to be used as a familiar spirit. A Mandragora is usually small, made of wood, or constructed from the Mandrake plant. Although they could essentially perform any task made to them they were usually used in divination rituals.

Carrion Grub

Carrion Grubs are large, vicious, slow moving worm-like creatures which do nothing but eat and breed. They have extremely poor eyesight, and navigate through smell and vibration. Although they start out in a tiny larval state there seems to be no limit to the actual size they can achieve, specimens in the wild have been observed over 30 feet in length. At such a large size their diet tends to subsist on carrion (hence the name, ) or other large game. It has been theorized that they are merely the larval state of another different, larger form which has not yet been observed in nature.

Fairy

A Fairy is a type of primordial nature spirit, usually connected to forests or woodlands. The term refers to many different types of supernatural entity (brownies, pixies, nixies, goblins, trolls, etc.) as well as with anything to do with the supernatural realm, i.e. "the Land of fey," or "Morgan Le Fay." In western European belief they originated either as fallen angels or as a distinct species all their own. Much of mythology has to deal with how one avoids fairy mischief, such as charms to keep them away, prevent them from stealing babies, etc.

Tri-Onion

A freakish anomaly spawned from experiments with a new pesticide, the Tri-Onion quickly grew to human size and began a rampage of violence and destruction. His hideous breath forced eyes to water, and his tremendous strength and near mindless ferocity caused millions of dollars in property damage. The Tri-Onion was last seen fleeing into the vast forests of the Pacific northwest. Most scientists believe the Onion has long since perished, however sporadic sightings still occasionally occur.

Python

In Greek mythology, the Python was a chthonic guardian of the oracle of Delphi. Hera sent Python to consume the goddess Leto as she gave birth to Apollo, thus Apollo returned the favor and slew the beast with his arrows, and turned the oracle of Delphi to his own purposes.

Garden Nose

Strange little creatures, which are little more than walking noses. The Garden Nose lives among flower patches and such, and even uses flowering plants as camouflage. They communicate with each other through smell.
