Catapede
After the bankruptcy of the Cristix corporation the remaining stock of Kittahpillars were slated to be destroyed, however several of them managed to escape into the surrounding wooded areas. Years of cross breeding with local alley cats have created a strange offshoot of the species, dubbed "Catapedes." They are generally more feral than Kittahpillars, however many of them have been (illegally) captured and domesticated.

Corn

Corn was born as Billy Buckenhimer Junior, the son of a prominent farmer. When Billy came of age he inherited the family business. One day Billy tried an untested experimental genetically engineered fertilizer from the Cristix corporation. The corn harvest was huge that year, but something strange happened. The chemicals from the fertilizer somehow infused Billy with Corn DNA, giving him superhuman strength and resistance to injury. Billy now spreads fear, using his new super corn powers to exact vengeance on those responsible for his mutation.

Fidopholump
The Fidopholump is another designer pet by the Cristix corporation, this one genetically engineered by a combination of dog, kangaroo, and grizzly bear. The resulting creature is large and friendly. The Fidopholump sold well and was a huge success. It soon became apparent that the creatures were highly protective and territorial, and would attack anything perceived as a threat to it's master, especially other Fidopholumps. A cottage industry of Fidopholump training schools have appeared to address this problem.
