Lassu

Lassu are strange creatures. They appear as serpents with feathery wings, a strange bulbous rattle, and an oddly human head. They have been known to display supernatural powers, such as mind reading, clairvoyance, teleportation, and the ability to fly though solid objects. They do not seem to be confined by the same laws of physics which govern the rest of the universe, leading some paranormal researchers to theorize they are multidimensional entities capable of moving outside of space-time. As to who they are and what their ultimate purpose is, no one can say.

BunnySaw

The freakish monstrosity known as BunnySaw started life as an experiment using different species gathered from a scientific expedition from an obscure planet on the edge of the galaxy called "Earth." The resulting clone was actually quite intelligent, however the entire operation was soon liquidated and all property sold. The clone eventually became the property of an unscrupulous fight promoter who had several cybernetic enhancements installed. BunnySaw was then entered into the Intergalactic Gladiator Federation. Like all gladiators BunnySaw must win 100 fights to procure his freedom.

The Parrot fish is so named as to beak-like mouth and feathery scales. The resemblance to a parrot is more than superficial. Sailors and fishermen describe the creature's uncanny ability to mimic the human voice.

Architalaix

An Architalaix is a necroconstruct, that is a creature or being created using materials obtained from other dead creatures. This particular example transforms the head of a recently deceased human into a mobile creature with arms and grasping tentacles. The Architalaix form is most often used to spy on enemies or guard specific treasures. Like all necroconstructs they are not truly undead, but do share many of the same characteristics.

Osciwurms are winged, flying serpents. They spend most of their lives in the air, and only really nest to sleep and lay eggs. Osciwurms hunt by straightening out their long bodies like a spear, then dive bombing and skewering prey.

Squeenilix are happy, energetic, dog-like creatures, which are often kept as pets by many races in the Galaxy, although they are also sold as food on many planets as well. There are many different breeds of Squeenilix and the creatures come in all manner of sizes, shapes, and colors. It is believed they are a devolved form of a once sentient race who held a vast galactic empire in eons past.

Skylyghters are floating, intelligent, creatures who evolved on a large gas giant planet. They achieve buoyancy by filling the large bag-like organs on either side of their heads with a lighter than air gas. Skylyghters are highly intelligent, but technologically primitive due to a lack of natural resources on their planet. They are among the galaxy's most esteemed thinkers and philosophers.

Tuqahocuilit, the burrowers

The Tuqahocuilit are large, worm-like demons that burrow through the stony, fleshy ground between Hell's many levels. As such they are in a unique position, and are one of the few demon races to move freely between the planes. They hold loyalty to no single demon lord, and often delight in playing them off against each other. They have been known to grant access through their territory for demon and soul alike, but will always exact a heavy toll.

Ichicapians are a degenerate race of mutated fish people which live in the Atlantic deep sea trench. Years of radioactive pollution dumped by unscrupulous corporations have mutated a once peaceful and highly intelligent people into base, war-like monsters. Their constant warring among themselves is the only thing which keeps them from invading the surface world.

Ikota, guardian of mankind

Ikota is a mysterious beast, created by a long lost civilization to defend against other such creations. Ikota was sealed in a volcanic explosion and spent the eons in suspended animation. After thousands of years Ikota is freed by a volcanic explosion. After an initial period of confusion and clashes with the armed forces, Ikota has made peace with mankind and has resumed his former role as protector from other giant monsters and extraterrestrial threats.

Squibs

Squibs are distantly related to the Gugs. They are descended from an offshoot population who left Gug space for parts unknown eons ago during a vast interplanetary civil war. Squibs did not have the taste for all-out conquest that Gugs had, but have managed to maintain a (small) sphere of influence regardless. Because of their origins the Squibs tend to hold a large amount of distrust of Gugs, and tend to not associate with them whenever possible.

The Order of D'hjuin

The Order of D'hjuin is a secretive sect of adepts who serve a being called "D'hjuin," who they maintain is a dark extradimentional being currently locked in the center of a neutron star. They are primarily made of up a humanoid race from Zeta Reticuli, but will accept members from other races if they are deemed worthy. Each member goes through decades of instruction and indoctrination, finally accumulating in a ritual where each member seals their mouths shut in an eternal vow of silence. The order works to free D'hjuin from his prison, whereupon they believe he will reshape the universe in his image.

Despite his horrid appearance, Splaaaggh now uses his superhuman abilities to fight for truth and justice.

As such the Chiments use a complicated system of hand signs and pheromones to communicated. They are generally peaceful, and tend to end up as writers, philosophers, and other creative occupations.

Mud Roper

Tentacled creatures which live in deep mud pits. Mud ropers tend to hide themselves completely, with only their eyes exposed as they await prey. They are generally feared by humans and large pogroms have been undertaken to wipe them out. They have been known to work in tandem to bring down large animals, and also show other signs of an organized society, such as division of labor, social rules, and a hierarchical structure.

Harpies originally came from Greek mythology. They are depicted as hideous winged creatures, with the top half of a woman but with legs and taloned feet of a monstrous bird. Harpies were instrumental in the punishment of Phineas, by snatching away and spoiling his food.

The term "Harpy" has since come to describe any evil or mean spirited woman.

The Xeophagel is a rare specimen of an offworld species bred for human exploitation. The creature's unique gastro-intestinal system allows it to digest and break down the most toxic materials, including highly poisonous chemicals, industrial sewage, and radioactive isotopes. Xeophagels are usually kept in the waste processing sections of floating space platforms, their own solid waste is reprocessed into a type of fertilizer.

Nanoscarabs are minute, techno-organic insects created by scientists to originally for medical reasons. They Necroscrabs have since escaped and evolved thorough several hundred thousand generations into a highly organized artificial insect society with multiple classes. Unlike normal insects, nanoscarabs are capable of reducing any organic matter to base building material within seconds. Thus far all attempts to eliminate the nanoscarab swarm has been unsuccessful.

The Trumphaladon is a hideous mutant known to attack campers and hikers in the Pacific north west of the United States. Despite more than a hundred reports over the last twenty years, scientists have yet to obtain any concrete evidence of the creature's existence besides some blurry photographs. Rumors point to a undercover military experiment in a deep underground base which went out of control and subsequent cover up. Several witnesses say they have been harassed by strange men in black suits who urged them to forget their encounters.

He has gone on to win several prominent racing competitions, and recently has received sponsorship in NASCAR.

Grobwali

A Grobwali is a rare half-dwarf, half-goblin hybrid. As the two races are diametrically opposed arch enemies which attack each other on sight such parings are uncommon indeed. Grobwali are usually overly large (that is, large for either a dwarf or goblin.) Unlike Goblins they can move about without ill effect in daylight, and will usually have some form of facial hair. Grobwali will usually have some form of congenital birth defect, such as a hunch back, club foot, facial deformities, and so on.

Grobwali are usually seen as outcasts from both Dwarf and Goblin societies, and usually end up as bitter loners and hermits.

Vorisquillade demons act as living garbage disposals, utilized by higher demon lords to periodically sweep through the twisting cities and dark corridors to remove the random remains and detritus that often accumulate in such places. Vorisquillade can use their shifting anatomy to form multiple mouth orifices. The creatures tend to breed rapidly, especially when large food sources are available (such as after a recent battle,) and need to be exterminated from time to time.
