Skull Dog
Skull Dogs are artificial creatures, often created by students of magic as a learning exercise. Skull dogs are not truly "alive," but are in fact just animated akin to how skeletons or other automata are. As such they do not exhibit any type of innate animal behavior, but instead will follow verbal commands to the letter.

Cainaline Dragon

Cainaline Dragons are have a long, winding body type, are warm blooded, and are covered in hair. The older the specimen is, the longer it grows. Cainalines are natural magic users. Most adults develop the ability to fly by harnessing the Earth's ambient magical energy. Cainalines will usually focus their innate magical abilities towards the pursuit of one (usually positive) emotion or concept, such as love, vigor, happiness, wisdom, or Luck. They are generally good natured and friendly towards humans, although "evil" Cainalines are known to exist.

Pumpkin Wraith

An animated corpse with a carved pumpkin in place of it's head. These creatures are usually created with a specific task in mind. The Pumpkin Wraith will single mindedly go about the duty it is charged with, will ignore all dangers or obstacles, and will attack anyone who tries to impede them. After the task is fulfilled the Pumpkin Wraith dissolves on the spot. They are often created for revenge plots or assassinations.

Asurgnyha
The Asurghyha are a sect of demons devoted to a strict religious/philosophical ideology. When a member joins the sect dark rituals are performed to invoke forbidden magics. The neophyte's body is literally turned inside out, and reformed into a spider-like visage. The Asurghyha then take a ten thousand year vow of silence, during which they complete their mystical training. They are generally neutral during the many conflicts that ravage through the Hell dimensions, although they will defend themselves if provoked.

Dragon Snail
Dragon Snails are the results of a mad wizard's experiments to gain revenge on a kingdom which banished him. The creatures are extremely tough, although not particularly agile. Due to their lack of speed they are best used as guards or sentries, in confined spaces which do not require a lot of movement (i.e. corridors, caves, valleys, etc.)

Hypno-Cat

A strange breed of multidimensional cat which can hypnotize with it's glance. These felines are highly intelligent, and live in a ritualistic, regimented society based on honor and tradition. As they are multidimensional entities, their cat-like appearance is more due to a limitation on how humans perceive them than their actual morphology.

Octaball
The creatures known as "Octaballs" were created centuries ago by a young wizard as a practical joke. The essence of a horned lizard was combined with several other slimy things to produce the first of these horrid monstrosities. The first Octaballs were small and harmless, but as they fed they eventually grew and became quite dangerous. Although an extensive campaign was waged to eliminate these aberrations, sporadic reports of the creature still surface in deep caverns or forgotten dungeons.

Necro Tater Head

When a young Necromancer wants to start trying new things, his toy collection is often the first thing to suffer. Taking a wooden cart, a propeller and Mr. Tater Head, its possible to create a Necro Tater Head. The best part is that on top of it being able to fly and wheel around, you can stick things to it and have it scream back at you.

Mandrakes

Animated man-like "androids" created from magic spells involving the mandrake plant. The mandrake is a poisonous hallucinogenic root that grows naturally into a bipedal shape. Alchemists in the middle ages used the mandrake in experiments with the eventual goal to create artificial men (a.k.a. the homunculus.) Supposedly such a creature was created by the great alchemist Albertus Magnus.
