McChickenhead

Shamus O'Rielly lived a deplorable life filled with crime and violence as a low level thug in the Irish Mafia, until one day when he woke up to discover his head had transformed into a giant chicken leg, apparently the result of an old Romani woman's curse inflicted upon him in an act of revenge. Branded a freak and ostracized from his gang McChikenhead used his strange chicken-leg powers to gain revenge on those who betrayed him.

ChickenHead Jackson

Fredrick Jackson was an amateur magician who mainly worked small clubs and children's parties. Feeling that he needed something to spice up his act, Fredrick started researching the dark magics of the ancient elder gods. He accidently found himself at the center of a powerful mystical vortex after attempting to combine an elaborate incantation to the chthonic underworld deity Hecate with making a chicken disappear. Jackson emerged from the vortex as a new being, part man, part chicken, and vowed to use his new chicken powers to help mankind and fight evil.

He still does children's parties, on occasion.

Roostra

Science student Betsy Bernhard entered a pair of genetically engineered super chickens in her 7th grade science fair, narrowly beating out Jose "Penuthead" Gonzoles and his giant robot ICBM-X for the blue ribbon. Penuthead swore revenge and directed his metal monstrosity to destroy the super chickens. When all hope seemed lost Bernhard unleashed Roosta, a gigantic genetically engineered super rooster. Roosta, ICBM-X, and the super chickens destroyed most of the city in their battle, until both were disqualified.

The first prize ribbon went to Wesley McGillis and his model of the solar system made from coat hangars and Styrofoam balls. His parents are very proud of him.

Chicken Monkey

The result of a bizarre experiment by a small time farmer to strengthen his dwindling chicken stock. Chicken Monkeys became a national phenomenon. Easy to raise, fun to train, soon every kid in America had their own Chicken Monkey pet. The export of Chicken Monkeys became a highly profitable business, although many animal rights organizations advocate to ban their export when it was learned they were being used as a food source in other countries.

Octoparachix

The Octoparachix is the second attempt of the Cristix corporation to break into the genetically engineered designer pet market after the failed Dwurm debacle. DNA was taken from a chicken, parrot, and octopus. The resulting creature, dubbed "Octoparachix" was extremely dangerous, known to attack small children and eat other pets (cats, dogs, etc.) Some financial success was made selling the creature to security firms to be used as attack dogs.

Rabbicken

Part rabbit, part chicken. Like the Onionpus this creature was developed in a laboratory to help ease world hunger, an attempt that has backfired. Although it's meat is reportedly incredibly tender, most of the world's major religions have designated this animal as "unclean," thus many in the starving developing world won't eat it. In addition the few specimens which have escaped into the wild have outbred and displaced local rabbit populations and have become a virtual plauge for farmers.
