Vile Tuber

A strange and hideous mutant vegetable gone bad, the Vile Tuber spreads death and destruction wherever he goes. Thankfully the creature's intelligence is low enough that most of his victims are able to outsmart him.

Venezuelan Skankin' Yam

A distant cousin to the Mexican Jumping Bean, the elusive Venezuelan Skankin' Yam dances uncontrollably to music on it can hear. They are a popular novelty item, often advertised in the backs of comic books.

Lava Tuber

Although they resemble plants, Lava Tubers are actually animals, similar to the worms that live near deep sea vents. They have developed a thick chitinous outer shell which allows them to exist immersed in liquid magma for short periods of time. The creatures feed by absorbing bacteria with their fleshy "leaves." Colonies of Lava Tubers usually attach themselves to the walls of volcanoes and only swim in the magma when they reach the adult stage.
