Musphanus

The Musphanus are a strange species, sharing characteristics of both plants and animals. They are small, rodent-like creatures, which develop from budding pods from large trees. After birth the creatures then live in large communal warrens beneath the birth-trees, feeding it and protecting it from harm.

Gorillant

Strange simian and insect hybrids, troops of wild Gorillants have recently been seen in the dense jungles deep in the Congo. It is theorized that illegal dumping of toxic materials may have somehow fused the two species together, although the science behind this theory is sketchy at best. The hybrids seem to follow the social structure of ants more than primates.

Snailgator

Snailgators are strange hybrid mollusk-reptiles. They inhabit swampy pens and damp forests. The creatures are rather formidable, however due to their slow speed their main prey are other types of snails.

Grobwali

A Grobwali is a rare half-dwarf, half-goblin hybrid. As the two races are diametrically opposed arch enemies which attack each other on sight such parings are uncommon indeed. Grobwali are usually overly large (that is, large for either a dwarf or goblin.) Unlike Goblins they can move about without ill effect in daylight, and will usually have some form of facial hair. Grobwali will usually have some form of congenital birth defect, such as a hunch back, club foot, facial deformities, and so on.

Grobwali are usually seen as outcasts from both Dwarf and Goblin societies, and usually end up as bitter loners and hermits.

Manodrac

Another scientific reject, Manodracs are bizarre little hybrids of human and dragon DNA. Although they have escaped and are breeding in the wild, the authorities assure us all there will be no extensive environmental damage.
