MouthBreather

The creature known as MouthBreather is a freakish mutant, spawned from the radioactive soup which resulted after a strange glowing meteor crashed to Earth an contaminated the water supply to a local prison. The exotic energies transformed his body, and gave him superhuman strength, allowing him to easily break out and free hundreds of his fellow mutated prisoners to escape.

The method through which he sees without eyes is currently unknown.

Xeophagel

The Xeophagel is a rare specimen of an offworld species bred for human exploitation. The creature's unique gastro-intestinal system allows it to digest and break down the most toxic materials, including highly poisonous chemicals, industrial sewage, and radioactive isotopes. Xeophagels are usually kept in the waste processing sections of floating space platforms, their own solid waste is reprocessed into a type of fertilizer.

Stalqugulpus

Stalqugulpus are bizarre offshoots of the Gulper family. The single eye on a long stalk is specifically adapted to spot prey over tall grasses or foliage.

Luscuobocca

The Luscuobocca are skiddish, energetic creatures which live in short burrows among the forest floor. Individually the creatures are rather harmless, as they never grow more than 22 cm from tip to tail. They have been observed hunting in large parties of 40 or more, easily taking down and devouring prey many times their size.

Gibblambu

Gibblambu are strange, energetic, mindless eating machines. They begin as small larva, indistinguishable from ordinary harmless caterpillars. They then enter a seven year long pupate stage, where the creature's mass increases by 500%. After hatching the resulting monstrosity is capable of eating double it's body weight every hour. The creatures embark on an orgy of untold destruction, after which mating is accomplished and all adults promptly die off. Swarms of Gibblambu follow the seven year breeding cycle, which cause untold ecological damage.

Carrion Frog

Carrion Frogs are overlarge land dwelling amphibians, which have a very large mouth and a wrinkled appearance. True to their name they feast mostly on carrion and the occasional small animal. They are fierce and highly territorial, and will attack others of their species on sight.

MushMaul

MushMauls are massive, lumbering brutes, covered with a a rough, warty skin. Each has multiple mouths on the top of a massive frame, the number of which increase with age. The creature has no eyes, and instead uses a bat-like sonar system of high clicks to navigate and a highly advanced sense of smell to track prey. MushMauls are solitary creatures, and will attack any large animal which invades it's territory.

Gugalite

Gugalites are bizarre subterranean dwellers, that live in deep caverns miles below the surface of the Earth. Despite their strange appearance they are quite intelligent, and have been known to maintain fish populations in vast underground lakes and to grow certain types of phosphorescent algae as a food and light source. There have been several incidents of deep oil well drillers encroaching upon their settlements, of which the Gugalites consider a hostile encroachment upon their territory.
