The Nomul are creatures which have nearly evolved to the point where they no longer require physical bodies. The "brain" of the Nomul makes up all tissues of it's body. They posses no skeletal, endocrine, or digestive systems. The "eyes" of the creature are weak, vestigial organs which are only used by the very young - adult Nomuls use an advanced form of "psychic seeing" to navigate the world around them. They are extremely intelligent as a race, even the young or those without extensive educations show advanced IQ scores. They tend to become scientists, spiritualists, philosophers, and politicians.
