Alien animal that inhabits the massive cosmic junkyards of the all-mighty, multi-species owned Recycling Alliance. The octopoid animals use the refuse and spare parts from destroyed space ships like the interchangeable shells of a hermit crap.
Unfortunately, a good number of such creatures ended up on Earth, and uses cars, new and used alike, for such a purpose instead. It was also on Earth that the annoying, but otherwise harmless creatures were given the unfair name Auto-Parasites.
