Lampus worms are large, blood sucking worms, which grow to around 6 inches in length. They are extremely hardy creatures, and have shown to survive freezing, extreme heat, pressure variations, and radiation. They can adapt to nearly every environment, but will go into extended periods of hibernation for as yet unknown reasons. This causes infestations of Lampus worms to flare up in easily predicted cycles.
