Mushroom Cat

Mushroom Cats are similar to normal felines, but have evolved a strange camouflage to blend in with the native fungus which make up their home.

Anthukabu

The Anthukabu is an insect which cultivates several different types of fungus on it's shell. The fungus serves as excellent camouflage, and also as a food source for the creature and it's young.

Sulucolite

Sulucolites are a race of one-eyed bipeds which live on a far away planet. They make their cities among giant forests of towering mushrooms and other bulbous fungi. Sulucolites are known for their highly positive outlook on life and extremely cheery dispositions.

Phunguskrabb

Phunguskrabbs are a breed of land dwelling crabs which make their lairs in deep caverns and crevices. Although meat makes up most of the creature's diet, the crab cultivates several different species of fungi upon it's shell, which is feeds upon in times of scarcity.

Saprophyte

Saprophytes are large, shambling, cannibalistic fungus men. They live in giant colonies hollowed out in vast caverns beneath the Earth. Saprophyte society uses a very rigid, class-based system designed to mimic that of a colony organism. Each member is assigned a very specific task, with zero tolerance for dissent. Any who do not follow the rule of law are quickly reprocessed.

Polyphagi

Strange, carnivorous fungi, native to a far away island. Tales of such plants were whispered as rumors for years before proper scientific classification. The Polyphagi makes it's home on the dry forest floor, slowly feeding off the of the usual rotting matter which accumulates there. This particular fungus has a strange, mouth-like orifice, and a shooting tongue similar to a Chameleon's with which it uses to catch prey. Although most grow to only a few feet, larger specimens have been shown to reach 30 feet or more.

Shroomhead

A tribe of bizarre anthropomorphic mushroom people from originally from an isolated south seas island. Not a very agile race, they lie in wait in the forests under thick foliage for passers by to infest with spores. Once assimilated they share a collective mind, where the individual lives in an idyllic hallucinatory dreamland.
