Facecrab
FaceCrabs are the latest innovation in what has become known as the "designer clone" industry. Enterprising individuals can pay exorbitant amounts of money to have their DNA spliced and recombined to give their bodies strange shapes.
Communities of "FaceCrabs" have started autonomous collectives in deep caves beneath the sea. They often find themselves on the receiving end of discrimination due to their chosen "lifestyle."

Dr.Crumpus
Dr. Phinneas Q. Crumpus was a revolutionary genius in the field of recombinant DNA. Crumpus made a big name for himself performing custom DNA work for famous celebrities, implanting body-altering features such as wings, fur, extra eyes, scales, etc. As the money and power went to his head the good doctor became more and more eccentric, and began performing risky proof-of-concept experiments on himself. After hundreds of different extreme
recombinant DNA modifications, Crapmus is now barley recognizable as human.

Mud Puppy
These strange mutants have been given the nickname "Mud Puppies" akin to the fish of the same moniker due to their habit of wallowing through the mud at the bottoms of ponds and rivers. No one is exactly sure where they came from - it seems as they just simply appeared one day in the Florida everglades, and have slowly been making their way north. Analysis of the creature's DNA show they are distantly related to several extinct species of reptile.
