Dr. Quiggly L. Bronkowitz was a very disagreeable man with a quirky sense of humor who served as the medical superintendent of the New Houlton Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Over his many years of service, he began to take an unhealthy fascination with the more eccentric of the asylum's occupants, until finally an incident during an inmate riot pushed him over the edge. Donning a homemade costume and calling himself "The Quibbler," Bronkowitz planned elaborate crimes focused on his dodgy disposition and love of bad puns. It wasn't long before he found himself confined to the very institution he once presided over.
