Scrogosaur

Scrogosaurs are small, energetic reptiles. They are very friendly, and have a general disposition akin to dogs. They are bred by several alien species to be used as pets, although some species raise them for food as well.

Blender Dog

A breed of dog genetically engineered with a blender grown from it's skull. Blender Dogs make great pets, and can blend at three different speeds.

Skull Dog

Skull Dogs are artificial creatures, often created by students of magic as a learning exercise. Skull dogs are not truly "alive," but are in fact just animated akin to how skeletons or other automata are. As such they do not exhibit any type of innate animal behavior, but instead will follow verbal commands to the letter.

Octodog

Octodogs are the result of a bizarre garage experiment by a young amateur scientist. Octopus and Dog DNA were recombined in such a way as to form a strange crossbreed. The creature proved to be extremely popular as pets and soon were bred and sold nationwide.

Lizitchzu

A Lizitchzu is a designer pet created using genetic material from a Shitzu and Iguana. The resulting creature is incredibly friendly and loyal, and also loves water and sunbathing for extended periods of time.

Scrappato

Scrappatos are a breed of designer pet created by the Cristix corporation. They are a combination of canine, amphibian, and dinosaur DNA. The result is a complex, warm blooded hybrid with the personality of a dog. Scrappatos were a financial success and kept the Cristix corporation from bankruptcy.

Pachytiline

The Pachytiline is the result of a gene splicing experiment by a couple of junior high school students. Genetic material from various reptiles and deep sea worms was injected into a Lhasa Apso. The resulting mutation took on characteristics donor animals, but retained the dog's friendly personality. The students went on to win first place in the school science fair, and are now currently entering Pachytiline into various dog shows around the country.

Black Shuck

Hideous demon dogs from English folklore. They are usually described as oversized dogs (in some instances, as large as a horse) with glowing red or green eyes. Their step is supposed to scorch the ground. It is rare for the devil dog to actually harm anyone, but those who witness the beast will shortly come to an untimely end.

Drorogas

Drorogas are swift, canine-like reptilian demons, which infest a multitude of Hell dimensions. Their primary function that of sheep dogs, to prevent the stray soul from wandering off. They are usually beholden to a stronger demon master, although "wild" packs of Drorogas also roam the wastelands.

Dentzhepsel

A Dentzhepsel is a small dog-like creature, commonly kept as a pet or food source across several different star systems. There are hundreds of different breeds which come in multiple shapes, colors, and sizes.

Caterfly

A Caterfly is a large insect which seems to be permanently stuck between it's larval and adult states. They have the personality and demeanor of small dogs, and are valued as pets in some areas.

Patchwork Mutant

An Ant-Duck-Alligator-Dog-Human hybrid, grown from a cell culture infused with the mix of DNA.

(Another aberration of science, for a top secret project.)

Zippy the Scorpion Dog

Bubba Hicks was the most red neck mad scientist south of the research center in New Mexico. He was rather attached to his dog but lost it in a spat with his wife. She ran Zippy over with his own truck. Bubba did the one sensible thing he could do, reattach his dog's head to a giant mutant scorpion they had made at the research center and shoot a couple thousand volts into it. Amazingly enough it worked and Bubba sure did love all those new holes in his wife...

Dog Rocket

An experiment with a dachshund and a space shuttle booster rocket produced this freak of nature. How exactly the thrust is produced remains a mystery to scientists. The Dog Rocket seems rather happy and content with his new found ability to fly, and has gained some notoriety after several appearances on the Tonight Show. Attempts to breed the creature have so far been unsuccessful.

Skluppy

Small, cute little demonic puppies, always there to nuzzle up next to you - in hell. Despite their bizarre appearance they're quite harmless. Skluppies act like living garbage disposals, scavenging around the deeper cesspits and waste dumps. They are often kept as pets by other demons.
