A Morticadeus is a necro-construct, an artificial creature pieced together from the enchanted parts of other dead things. As such they can be made in any number of shapes or configurations. They are utilized by powerful sorcerers to perform simple tasks, such as guarding a specific place or to retrieve an item.

Adepts are exceptionally gifted demons minor who study the dark arts with fanaticism. They are often kept on retainer by the higher demon lords, and act as sargents, lieutenants, spellcasters, and majordomos. It is not unheard of for a particularly crafty adept to manipulate events and elevate themselves to Demon Major status.

Architalaix
An Architalaix is a necroconstruct, that is a creature or being created using materials obtained from other dead creatures. This particular example transforms the head of a recently deceased human into a mobile creature with arms and grasping tentacles. The Architalaix form is most often used to spy on enemies or guard specific treasures. Like all necroconstructs they are not truly undead, but do share many of the same characteristics.

The Order of D'hjuin
The Order of D'hjuin is a secretive sect of adepts who serve a being called "D'hjuin," who they maintain is a dark extradimentional being currently locked in the center of a neutron star. They are primarily made of up a humanoid race from Zeta Reticuli, but will accept members from other races if they are deemed worthy. Each member goes through decades of instruction and indoctrination, finally accumulating in a ritual where each member seals their mouths shut in an eternal vow of silence. The order works to free D'hjuin from his prison, whereupon they believe he will reshape the universe in his image.

Ghorapines
Ghorapines are large predatory mammals which hunt in forests and grasslands. They are the result of a mad wizard's experiments, the combination of a rabbit, wolf, rat, and demon. The resulting creatures hunt in packs, live underground in warrens, breed excessively, and are highly dangerous. Several organized campaigns to eradicate the creatures once and for all have all thus failed.

Cleaner Cubes
Cleaner cubes are artificial beings, created by mad wizards from arcane sciences out of the flesh of the dead and the bile from beasts. They are living vacuum cleaners, set loose to crawl along the corridors and consume any and all detritus left by (or of) intruders. Cleaner cubes do not have digestive systems, instead anything consumed is mystically transported to another dimension.

Pumpkin Wraith

An animated corpse with a carved pumpkin in place of it's head. These creatures are usually created with a specific task in mind. The Pumpkin Wraith will single mindedly go about the duty it is charged with, will ignore all dangers or obstacles, and will attack anyone who tries to impede them. After the task is fulfilled the Pumpkin Wraith dissolves on the spot. They are often created for revenge plots or assassinations.
