Catterwurms are overlarge (3-5 feet long) insects which have evolved to never progress past the larval stage. Catterwurms begin as small, tree-dwelling creatures, but adapt to ground dwelling herds as they grow larger. As adults they organize themselves into hierarchical herds, with alpha males and a strict pecking order.

SpinyCanth
SpinyCanths are sub-sentient bovine-like animals which live in large herds across a faraway undeveloped planet. The creatures use their spiked tongues to fend off predators and in elaborate mating contests.
